Joseph Nitti, Esq.
Essex County, NJ Family Law Attorney
Joe Nitti is the principal lawyer at Nitti & Nitti Attorneys at Law. He has been in private practice since 1986 and has primarily focused his practice in the area of matrimonial law and civil litigation. Joe is a certified mediator and collaboratively trained lawyer and serves on the court’s Early Settlement Panel to assist in resolving cases before trial. He also serves as the Chairman of the Fee Arbitration Committee for the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Throughout many years of handling family law matters, Joe has always offered his clients several options when it comes to resolving their issues. As a litigator, he vigorously advocates for his clients and will take the dispute to trial when a favorable outcome cannot be achieved through other means. However, the vast majority of cases settle without significant litigation. It is therefore important that an attorney has the persuasive skills needed to take care of matters outside the courtroom. Over his many years of practice, Joe has developed excellent
negotiation skills that have helped to resolve difficult cases during the mediation process.
In addition to providing litigation, Joe offers his clients and other referring attorneys alternate dispute methods. As a certified mediator and collaborative law trained attorney, Joe is able to give his clients options that they may not have with other family law attorneys.
Joe offers personal one-on-one communication with his clients. The client always comes first, which is why Joe will work closely with you throughout the entire case.
